On Sunday, my "local corner shop" is the half-covered market on St-Marc Square, only a few minutes from home, where you can buy anything: from fresh fruits and vegetables to flowers, from antiques to meat, books, poultry, bread, cakes, cheeses, clothes, leather bags, Chinese food… Anything…
In France, going to the market on Sunday morning is more than a habit, it's an institution! As I could not choose only one picture, I have decided to post a few shots taken this morning. So follow me in my "Sunday local corner shops", and first of all let's buy a Neufchâtel cheese!
And it is a tradition to have a drink before going back home for a late brunch : you have the choice, there are many bars around.
In this one, you can even bet on horses for the races taking place the afternoon.
Red wine and cheese for everyone ?
